Our team will provide loving care to our patients and families, that encompasses clinical, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs as well as social and moral support. What is Hospice?

Assurance Hospice empowers you to choose where you will live, how you will be treated for your illness, and be a part of the decision-making process so you are in control of your life and treatment options.
Support. Assurance Hospice provides more than just medical care. In addition to the outstanding medical services, Assurance Hospice includes social services and spiritual and emotional support for you and your family. 24 hours a day, you have access to counselors and qualified staff who are ready to help you through life’s difficulties.
Medication, Supplies and Equipment. When you need medication, you shouldn’t have to wait for an appointment with the doctor’s office and then drive around looking for a pharmacy. With Assurance Hospice, our staff are available 24 hours a day to get the medications you need delivered directly to your door, even at 2:00 am. What’s more, when you need specialized care equipment and supplies, such as oxygen machines and wound supplies, they can be delivered to your door so that you can focus on your care.
Expertise. Our Doctors, Case Managers, Nurses, CNA’s, Social Workers, Chaplains, and Volunteers work together to give you care and support from multiple perspectives, ensuring the best care possible. This Interdisciplinary Team collaborates on a regular basis reviewing your case, and ensuring that each member of the team is informing the care process, and the care plan is based on all aspects of your comfort and well-being.

Assurance Hospice Physicians work with your physician to develop a plan of care that maximizes your comfort and quality of life.
Assurance Hospice Social Workers are available as friendly and skilled listeners to provide emotional support and to help you and your family with financial issues and/or planning for your illness.
Assurance Visiting Nurses visit you on a weekly basis to assess and ensure that the plan of care is being implemented and that goals are being met. They work with you to make sure that you have what you need to be as comfortable and pain free as possible.
Assurance Hospice Home Health Aides are available to help you with your personal care needs, such as bathing, feeding and dressing during the week.
Assurance Hospice Chaplains are always available for any spiritual needs that you or your family may have, even after hospice ends. We are here to help you through your illness, and make sure that you and your family have the support that you need.
Therapy Consults. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and Dietary consults are available as needed to help you cope with your illness.
Hospice Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team, providing support and reassurance in a broad spectrum of services. Our volunteers are a dedicated group of trained individuals who share the desire to enrich the lives of others by generously donating their time, compassion, and expertise.
